Koikaat 0
Victim [CSC]Prince_Koikot Server NARC GUID 0 Suspect Patol Date 2 November 2025 Text Evidence I am in the CSC and was playing along the CSC in the special NWRP Halloween event, I teamkilled Riceguy who is also a fellow CSC member after he kept hitting me with bottles he threw at me, then after that Patol temp banned me. He overlooked that Rice (purposefully without accident) teamkilled buff 2 times, so I believe that this is an act of favoritism. Also, he did it without warning, too strict for teamkilling someone once, especially when you don't ban other people for it. I do think it was a really unfair temp ban, especially with such a special event, me and rice and buff and the other CSC members in the game were in a VC together. Pretty fucked up, I was looking forward to playing the whole thing. 40 people in one server, and you said it's something you can't miss. Other people like buff said it was pretty concerning too that you seemingly banned me for no reason, it was pretty sudden. Next time, maybe you could warn me, especially when the event is large and special, maybe because it's large and special it's more stressful for you to moderate, but you can still discern a bad-faith troll from a good-faith actor, can you not? Me and Rice are friends and are in the same regiment. Visual Evidence
Patol 318 Posted yesterday at 12:18 PM Share Posted yesterday at 12:18 PM There are a few things to consider: 1. The Fault Itself You literally executed Rice Guy Now when he was doing nothing wrong to you or anyone else at that time. This is a clear example of RDM. In such cases (especially at an ongoing event), full admins were always allowed to give temporary bans (or even permanent bans if the severity warranted it - famous "ban is a warning.") 2. The Circumstances As you mentioned, this happened during an event with many players and a lot going on. I don’t want players randomly killing each other in the meantime because it only adds to the chaos. Additionally, actions like this make the work of other admins harder. Each of you had to be spawned, teleported, cleared of weapons, given a weapon, and then teleported back. None of this is automatic - it’s done manually by staff within a limited time window. So in addition you just made things harder than they needed to be. 3. What Should You Do? You could have asked the admins to handle the situation instead of taking matters into your own hands. You had the head admin right next to you, so there was no excuse for not approaching me about it. If there's no reply yet it means there's a lot of things going on and pushing them makes it even worse (even if you do that as another admin) Normally, I'm in spectator mode trying to manage the situation across the server. But in this instance, I was on the ground, managing a smaller area as the hosting admin (Killey) wanted. I was already addressing him about other issues like the mess in the tavern or players rejoining with the wrong classes. So internal admin chat was already getting "spammed" with more important issues and by multiple people. Then I could not use the red admin chat (you need to be in spectators) and definitely I shouldn't interrupt with the main purple chat. It’s important to understand the distinction between "local" and "global" admin duties. At the time, I was focused on managing a specific area, directing players and maintaining order where I was "stationed". If I had been in spectator mode (which I later switched to), it would have been my responsibility to handle the situation directly - in this case I often take duty of the hosting admin if it goes for managing order, so he may focus on the narrative alone. However, I was not in the spectator mode. Rice’s actions were happening on the opposite side of the map, and I wasn’t in a position to observe or assess what was going on there. I would have had to make assumptions about who started the conflict, escalated it, or baited the other player, none of which I could be certain of without seeing it. So, despite understanding the context of Rice’s actions, it wasn’t up to me to manage that situation at that time. If I had been in a "global" position earlier, I would've likely addressed Rice’s behavior before your situation even happened - if not, then it would be my fault for not doing so. Your situation on the other hand took place where I was. That's the difference. Then I acted according to what I have said in #1 and #2 I don’t understand why I should have to consider the CSC voice chat on the CSC Discord server - at this point it only shows you, Rice and Buff should be better coordinated instead of acting as "a teamkill hive". Anyway if you bring communication to external platforms, then who is to blame for that? This is a basic example of "play stupid games, win stupid prizes". Next time just heed to the rule you shouldn't escalate on your own, especially in messy situation
