Firstly, I'm perfectly capable of reading posts. Hence why I'm in the unfortunate position to be talking to you right now.

 

My point is about aesthetics. It's irritating and distracting to have to scroll down a thread and have to look for one line of light-grey text among all the oversized YT video thumbnails and shit-tier memes. It's not something I want to be doing in my free time.

 

While imagine that being in a brightly lit environment full of distractions reminds you of your autism daycare clinic, for everyone else, massive sigs are a pain in the bottom. I'm on this forum to read text, not the title of some un-funny video you  mistakenly thought was worth sharing with the world.
