DrStein 2
I got someone to play on NRP by using porn ad tactics. Might work in for you.

Emil 54
It's hopeless trying to convert the majority of players in generic competitive games such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive or Dota 2. They must already have a tendency of buying and playing a lot of various games and have a true interest in medieval times, modding and being part of a community. Most of my contacts whom have purchased Mount & Blade: Warband and the Napoleonic Wars DLC comes from my past Swedish community where we had a number of different games in which we played together, whether it be CSGO, ARMA, DayZ, Squad or NW. That's something me and my friends don't have in common as we pretty much only play CSGO. They strive to carry the team and want the win to count for something. They are open for other games, but they want a fast-paced action game, something NW or NRP doesn't represent in their opinion. I've also become aware that time is of importance when playing NW. I'm inactive in-game simply due to only being able to play for 2-3 hours a night and two matches of CSGO fills it up easily.
cinnaman348 1
I agree with what Ewoksson said. I think games like CS:GO, ARMA III, or MOBAs are really great with friends and groups of people, and think they are very easy to find people to play with. Enjoy playing with a guy in your game? Go to his profile and just add him as a friend, play every once in a while and that is all that happens due to the sheer numbers of people and distractions of who you can play with. NRP and NW is different with how you have to find people, and is a lot more community based. You play with the same people all the time, and so many of us have played with each other for years now, not just maybe once every week or two and eventually delete each other. Player count aside, it isn't just shooting people or running around; it is slow based game play with thinking and a lot of room with roleplay elements. A lot of people that stick to the top of the game list like PUBG or CS:GO would have a hard time adjusting to the idea of how long you can be dead or how powerless you can be at times such as being a ranker and forced to stick to officers. I think about it a lot when I slay people or when people that are new don't understand or care to take a second and just listen and learn. I do not think Warband or NW is for everybody, but I think it could be for a lot more people than it currently is. There are moments I remember 2 years ago, from names, to old maps, to things we roleplayed with that I don't think a lot of the super popular and groomed games' playerbase would be able to appreciate. It is something that gets better with time, and I think that a lot of people would be able to appreciate it if they gave it more of a chance. I have no idea about any of the unit's history or meanings, I picked the game cause I already liked warband and I remember thinking shooting guns was cool enough for 2.99$ on sale. Gio 4
I used to play cracked warband 7 years ago on singleplayer campaign only. Then back in 2013 a friend gave me his steam and I played on NRP for 2 weeks. I got banned a lot in JB because I kept swapping back to the guards team. The admins were retarded though and didn't even explain why so I got temp banned a lot.
