Explained in title, when an infantry regiment's officer die, the beacon should carry on to the flagbearer so that the regiment doesn't split up all over the place and some organization is at least enforced.

well, what I can say is that the Flag is meant to be the Beacon which is not hard to see a huge ass flag in front of you, But I do think it could be a good idea to have a double beacon just so blind people can see who and wear the flagbearer is.

It's not that people don't see the flag, it's that people immediately think that when officer dies they can do whatever the fuck, the flagbearer carrying on the beacon can enforce some organization and carry on the round.

If the flagbearer dies then it's oof as noone's there to assume command of that regiment, unless they somehow rally.

I mean people still would possibly not follow the flagbearer with the extra beacon. I mean the rule is you have to follow the flagbearer after the officer dies but adding another beacon does not really change that people will still run off or not even follow them.

I still think it's a good idea, but I don't see the point in extra beacons above the flagbearer head. Maybe instead the admins can just force the rule a little bit more.

If they don't follow the flagbearer then the admins can simply slay, and the rule you mention, it's actually that they should follow another officer by joining another line, nowhere does it say that the flagbearer should be followed.

There has been a couple of admin, say follow the flagbearer if they have one.

But if that's the case then what's the point of the extra beacon on the flagbearer or even this post?

but anyways I will leave this post alone. :PepeEz:

But to be honest, this would be an extremely essential script to LB RP. If the rank below Officer, automatically received a beacon, Lines wouldn't fall apart so fast.

Well, i've been enforcing to follow the flag bearer after the officer dies since the beginnig of the times anyway. That would still be a good addition nontheless.

It's an interesting idea, but presents a few potential problems.
-Based on beacon scripts, I'm not sure how possible it is.
-Flagbearers may not wish to BE officers, which might disuade people from choosing it

We could start telling flagbearers to lead units back to the nearest friendly line as part of an official rule, if it helps.

Ehh, I think more people would be inclined to play flagbearers now that they have a little more of a purpose to them.

Leading units back to the nearest friendly line isn't a bad idea, yet again I'm merely putting down my own suggestions, how you go on about implementing it is completely upto you and how you find it convenient.
